Circle messages help draft
STOP, HELP, access, and deletion
Kinpath Circle messages are not active. This page documents the planned support behavior for review; it cannot currently change a subscription or receive a support request.
Stop messages
Reply STOP to the Kinpath toll-free sender to opt out of all Kinpath texts to that number. Twilio's standard toll-free backstop blocks later provider sends and confirms STOP immediately, including during a Kinpath application webhook outage.
Kinpath mirrors durable global suppression only after a primary or fallback signed webhook succeeds or the STOP event is recovered. Outbound messaging cannot resume after an outage until provider events are reconciled into Kinpath. A request through the app, web, or support would use the same suppression path once those routes exist.
Get help
Reply HELP for help. The planned provider reply is:
Kinpath Circle messages: help at {help_url}. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.The final {help_url} must point to this public route, and the provider configuration must use the exact approved version.
Start again
START or UNSTOP can remove the provider's block. Kinpath would restore consent only if the final approved disclosure makes that keyword an explicit re-consent action. Otherwise the recipient must complete the recipient-controlled consent and phone-possession flow again.
Access, correction, and deletion
Once a verified support route exists, a recipient may ask what SMS consent is connected to their number, correct it, revoke it, or request deletion. Kinpath must verify control of the number before returning or changing information.
The current design removes phone ciphertext and account linkages after a verified deletion request. A keyed suppression fingerprint may remain while an opt-out is active so deletion does not cause a later text to someone who said STOP. The final retention and alternative do-not-import process require Andy and counsel to decide them before public enrollment.
Read the draft SMS Privacy Policy and draft SMS Terms of Service for the full proposed treatment.
Delivery problems
A provider acceptance or carrier delivery status does not prove that a person saw a message. Kinpath does not automatically retry after an unknown provider outcome and does not switch to another SMS provider silently. The Circle link or app remains the authoritative place to check current logistics.
